More Christening Invitations

I have been playing today and this is what I have made

I find I'm always in need to do Christening Invitations ..thats what happens when you are from a big family its constantly growing.....I won some dies from Gokreate a couple of weeks ago and I have to say I'm very impressed... the quality is amazing I will be definitely buying more and what lovely people from Gokreate too, ,these are the standard size and I thought this particular one would be great for Christening Invitations and I have the perfect stamp LOTV which I bought at the SSEC in October in readiness I may add!!which doesnt take a lot of time to colour, I'm sure these will be a hit with my lot!!! well that is if I get plenty of notice...they tend to wait till the last minute

Charisma Challenge wk 5

Yes you've guessed it! the challenge over at Charisma this week is

Things with Wings

I cut the base card using the cricut then distressed it using Tim Holtz distress inks I then stamped over this using my tapestry stamp a wee little butterfly, added a second layer using Dp from Bearlymine Designs vintage and added some stickles to this but cant seem to get a good photo where it shows up, third layer is once again distressed and stamped text on it, added the flourishes, card candy and WOC flowers to the body of the butterfly, finishing off with a few pearls to each wing

Romantic Valentine

I wanted this valentine card to be romantic and feminine,I have used white and pale pink metallic card stock which I have distressed using Tim Holtz distress inks and Inked text onto my centre heart, the heart shapes were cut using the cricut, added these gorgeous roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls and a cut finding and flourish.

We have snow in Newcastle today..hence a crafty afternoon (any excuse). Thought i'd play along with Less is more challenge again as I am really enjoying it and it really is a challenge for me, first I made a mask and lightly distressed the base card using Tim holtz distress ink, I then used this old stamp which was given to me by my friend Diane so not sure how old is old but I love the trees, finishing off with a stamped sentiment and 3 pearls...well I had too just to compliment the colour LOL!! well this is the card before I added the pearls

WOW!! February already!! that means a brand new challenge at Bling It On, and its Deb's theme this month......LOVE.....just in time for Valentines Day!
I have made an oval shaped card this time ..well not a perfect oval or it wouldnt stand, I have used 'Sundae' by Kenny K coloured with promarkers, no DP this time just plain card stock ( red,black and white) cut into layers using the cricut. I've added stickles and glossy accents to the hearts and ice cream but it doesnt show up on my photo.

I'm in the middle of a project and I had my distress inks out and I remembered seeing the sketch at 'Less is More' LOL!! do you ever start one thing and something else takes over?... well this is what I came up with, I masked off my card , distressed the border and stamped over it using a stamp set from Sheena Douglas, I used Scattered Straw and Tea Dye, I think I better enter the challenge now I've made it.......now back to my original project..........cant believe I got distracted

My likkle Christening shoes

I have made these so cute little shoes as a Christening keepsake instead of a card, we have had 2 births in the family so far this year.....I know its only January but have just found out we will have another 2 by the end of the year, you guessed it we are a big family and these are for great nieces and nephews so thought I had better make a start, the whole project was cut using scal software and the cricut the gable box was a free template from http://paperpastime.blogspot.com and the shoes from a craft cd (cute as a button) I added the windows as I wanted to be able to see the contents (on hindsight really should have put one window with shoes facing to the front), punched lace from a martha stewart punch, flowers from WOC, lace and silver trimming from my stash box, added a big bow to the handle and when this is needed I will be adding a tag with the details of baby's Christening.

Tilda in the window

Phew! This was a card in a half to make!! But it has kept me occupied while hubby has been in hospital, he's home today and doing fine so thank you all for your kind comments. Now this card..where to begin..
I have cut the window,picket fence and grass using my cricut and scal software,added acetate to the window and some pink lace, Tilda is coloured using promarkers and resting in the window, Dp and inserts are from Bearlymine Designs designer extreme 2, the brick paper was scrapbook paper, added flowers and a bow to finish it off. think its a bevelled window card?.anyway it was a challenge for me and I am quite happy how it turned out

Another Birthday card today this time using Dottie from bugaboo stamps isnt she just fun and funky!! perfect for my daughters 26th shows the party girl in her LOL!! did some paper piecing on the pc, coloured with promarkers mounted onto black card stock and added 2 punched balloons adding the 26 and that was it!!

Have been busy making number cards cut on the cricut using scal software, my granddaughter the lovely Poppet (Natasha) will be 2yrs old on Wednesday, I was showing my SIL and she wanted a one for a 5yr old so here they are, must admit it made a nice change creating a file and card from scratch, they are quite sparkley but dont think the camera has picked that up

oh it was lovely to make any card rather than a Xmas card it made a nice change,also nice to stick to monochromatic shades. One last card before xmas, the reason being I bought a christmas present just for me... 2 new cds from Bearly mine Designs, designer extreme 11 and 111 oh I am not kidding you when I say these papers are so lush and I couldnt wait to play I am delighted with my gift to me LOL!!. these papers are from designer extreme 11.
I have printed the same paper at different sizes and distressed them both added some lace, a flowerpot filled with flowers and a crystal stem, added wee buttons, pearls and a bow the sentiment I did on the pc

Charisma Challenge 49 Last Minute Makes

I saw this challenge white on white over at the Totally Tilda challenge and I just had the urge to play along!! mind you it has taken for ever to photograph and I'm still not happy with the light, but at least you can see it against the black background
I have used Longing Tilda, hair and skin coloured with promarkers, I have been very careful not to use any other colours, the scalloped Easel card was cut on the cricut, added some lace and some embossed circles to the base, the frame was also cut on the cricut and I added the white punched flowers, leaves and butterflies, the only other thing I added was the white pearls

I have used one of my favourite stamps, I'm sure you've seen her a few times on my blog, she's by Kanban coloured with promarkers and glittered to give her some pazazz!! this card is for my Mums Birthday.The designer papers were from a luxury pack I bought at the SECC arent they just gorgeous!, I have used black lace and a feather, added pink pearls ,a pin and handmade pink flowers, I have made the insert red should have taken a photo before I uploaded my post.

Girlie card

Well my friends didnt have much of a chance to be creative last week as my hubby was taken into hospital, he's home now and hopefully on the mend , I did get a chance to stamp up my new stamps a coloured a few in readiness LOL!!
This is a new stamp for me I bought it at the SECC a couple of weeks ago, I am building up my LOTV collection so purchased a few of the older ones too, I have coloured her using my promarkers , the DP is from Bearlymine Designs , Designer Extreme, added a spotty ribbon, pearls and a flower and rosebuds , the sentiment is LOTV but from one of the newer stamps but thought it went just as well with this image

I decided to make a vintage/shabby style scallop box with a sliding drawer, I have used Bearlymine Papers Vintage Collection available from here, I absolutely love vintage and these papers are so gorgeous its hard to resist them LOL!!I stamped the gibson girl and coloured her with promarkers then cut her using my nesties, added my glittered flowers and voila!! finished...just need a little something to put in it.

Another Christmas card part 2

This is my second Christmas card today, once again I decided on an easel card
I have used Christmas Swirls from Bearlymine Designs another new release and I must say they are fab!!

added some lace and ribbon with complimentary red and white stripey bows, Tilda is coloured using promarkers and the frame is cut on the cricut as were the swirls(flourishes) the ponsietta's were punched out using red and green vellum, stamped my sentiment onto red card so it would all tie in together, here is a close up

Another Christmas card

Yep More Christmas cards I'm on a roll!!... I just had to use these fabulous new papers from Bearlymine Designs Christmas Wishes I love these blue and tan colours and I thought a nice easel card would be in order

I have coloured Tilda using promarkers added silver trimmed lace and blue ribbon with some punched out snowflakes, punched the white ponsietta's too and stamped my sentiment on the left over tan paper, and of course I had to use some card candy too! here is a close up

Baby Boy Baptism card

Made this baby boy Baptism card for a friends Grandson, so thought I would post it on here too, I have made an easel card, used DP from Bearlymine Designs Simply Dots, the digi stamp is one of my favourites from meljens designs
'cuddle Cloud Baby', which is cut out using my nesties and coloured with promarkers, some blue lace, also added blue bow,and punched butterflies using my leftover paper and of course I just had to have a matching box

oh I am really in a chrismassy mood today and just finished this card,
all 3 DP are from Bearlymine Designs Xmas Dreams Collection, Kenny K Santa coloured with promarkers , added 1 ribbon and 2 flowers, I have also decorated the inside using Bearlymine Xmas Inserts..oh I just didnt know how gorgeous these inserts were, I was so impressed I have bought Designer Inserts Extreme and Its a fabulous collection of inserts I sure will be using it lots

Anything Goes

So me being me I like a little bit vintage, the DP were given to me in some candy and they were perfect for this card added a little distressing to get me in the mood LOL!!

the image is from a cd, flowers are punched and distressed I used script paper to make these and added a little pearl to each one and a couple of rose buds from my stash, the gold net (wish I could find some more this is the last I had) from my stash, added my die cuts and also added a pearl to each of those

What fabulous ABC's you all had in the last challenge!! now for September at Bling it On it's Nats turn to set the challenge and the theme is

WEAVING

You can make anything but somewhere on your project there has to be some visable WEAVING. The weaving can be done with beads, ribbon, paper, string, thread or whatever else you can think of.
Hope you enjoy this challenge and i look forward to seeing your creations.

Now my friends I have never weaved anything before LOL!! so thought I'd have a go and weave a mat, mounted it up then added my image, All about Cupcakes from the THE CUTTING CAFÉ’ coloured with promarkers and a little stickles added, the DP was from a Mag I bought a while ago, ribbon and candy from my stash.

Daisy Daisy!!

I've had this stamp Sugar Nellie's Daisy inked up and coloured with Promarkers and never got round to making a card with her till now, Dp are from Bearly mine Designs Plain and Simple also Spring Blossoms , I have used a fiskars punch this time and a gold doily which I cut round to make a frame and the bits I cut off I added to the border, 2 punched butterflies from the leftover paper flowers and pins from my stash
